Discovering What Love Looks Like

Grumpy old Mrs Gooseberry from next door has lost her love. ‘I didn’t know you could lose love,’ says Ella. So she begins her quest to find out what love looks like and how she can help Mrs Gooseberry to rediscover it. Her mother says love is like home-cooked pie. Her teacher says it’s like lanterns in the night. Perhaps love might look like a little kitten. Ella and Mrs Gooseberry is a heart-warming picture book about a child’s understanding of love, selfless giving and how it makes you feel.

“A gentle, heartwarming story about finding love.” – Judith Rossell, children’s book author and illustrator

A Journey of Love

Heartfelt and poignant, Visiting You follows a young child’s experiences as they journey with their mother to visit a loved one. The world we live in is full of varied, diverse communities, and along the way they interact with many different people – a father living apart from his daughter, a bereaved husband, a granddaughter forgotten by her grandfather.

Through reaching out to these strangers, the child discovers that, despite differences in appearance, age or culture, they all share one thing in common: love. This tale teaches that appearances are sometimes deceiving and that, no matter our differences, it’s our similarities that matter most.
