Open Positions

Sales Representative (Sydney Based)

Exisle is a growing independent Australian publisher of nonfiction and children’s books.

Our super Sydney-based sales representative has been promoted to our new UK office, so we have a sales position to fill.

If you too are diligent, ambitious, hardworking, and love booksellers we would like to hear from you.

Be part of our tight-knit, supportive team in this family-run company, selling bestselling self-help books and award-winning picture books.

The Sydney-based sales role offers a fair degree of autonomy and would suit someone who likes variety in their days and to get out from behind the desk to build relationships with existing customers, as well as establish new ones. You should be happy selling books into a delicatessen over breakfast, helping a children’s bookstore develop its sales of our books later that morning, and be comfortable in the head office of a key account that afternoon.

To succeed in this role you will need to be well presented, articulate, have excellent written communication skills, and be super organised.

You will need to visit the Gosford office from time to time. Some interstate travel is also required. You will need a reliable car and a valid driver’s license.  You will also need to be able to show you have been double vaccinated against COVID-19.

The position is full-time, with a start date in early January 2022.

Virtual Marketing Assistant (Remote)

Exisle publishes books that matter by experts and storytellers who have a message. Our books have won multiple international awards, and stay in print for years. • Media Relations and Follow-up: Respond to enquiries about our titles and provide requested digital materials such as book covers or PDFs
  • Administration and Organization: Marketing for a major global publishing house can get complex. We’ll need your help staying on top of contacts, databases, appointments etc.

This role is best suited for people who:

  • Love books/writing
