George Dieter is a psychologist whose work focuses on helping people understand why they think, feel, and react as they do, and how to change it. He holds master's degrees in psychology and in the psychology of coaching, as well as a law degree, a combination that shapes his interest in how human beings handle responsibility, conflict, and the rules they live by.

As principal psychologist at a private practice, he specialises in relationship, child, and adolescent counselling. He has presented papers at national and international conferences and has written on the juvenile justice system. His approach brings together neuroscience and everyday psychology, explained in plain language, and it grew out of a single observation repeated across years of practice: that much of the distress people carry comes from confusion about where their responsibilities end and another person's begin.
