We are seeking an energetic, proactive Publishing Sales and Marketing Administrator who can juggle a wide range of administrative responsibilities while actively seeking new sales opportunities. Key Responsibilities:

Sales Administration:

  • Manage all aspects of sales submissions, including preparation, scheduling, and follow-ups for key accounts.
  • Maintain and update sales databases, submission trackers, and master sheet, ensuring all sales data is live and current.
  • Coordinate bi-monthly sales meetings and support representatives with essential sales materials.
  • Process orders, track inventory levels, and flag reprint requirements.

Marketing Support:

  • Coordinate email marketing campaigns (EDMs) targeting booksellers and special sales customers.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of sales kits, catalogues, and promotional materials.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of thematic sales campaigns.

Sales Growth & Opportunity Development:

  • Proactively research and approach new sales channels, including educational institutions, online marketplaces, and niche retailers.
  • Build relationships with potential buyers through cold outreach, conferences, and digital marketing approaches.
  • Collaborate with the sales lead to execute new market strategies and regional campaigns.
  • Identify and leverage online growth opportunities, especially through digital marketing and e-commerce partnerships.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience in sales administration, marketing coordination, or a related field, preferably in publishing, is a must.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously is essential.
  • Strong data-driven, analytical mindset with the ability to assess sales data and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Proven ability to take initiative, work independently, and achieve targets without micromanagement.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable liaising with key industry stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and CRM systems or the ability to quickly learn.
