Nayu’s Reading Corner
It’s amazing how much of a feel for each state I got from reading these books. I especially love the part at the back which has facts about each state … I hope more states are explored, although there are a lot so I doubt all could be covered. I’d love Alaska to be the next book!”

Creative Kids Tales
“As the book progresses through each month we learn about important days, school life, activities, the climate and the food Texans eat. Each double page spread of the book covers a month and the simple headings for each month are decorated to give a clue of the importance of the month or the season it falls in. The final double page spread of the book gives a wealth of information about the State of Texas for a child. There is a simple map and some information about the geography of the area.”

Kids Book Buzz
“I thought this book had some interesting things to share (like what “Texas” means), and I learned a few new things about my home state. This book would be good choice for kids would want to learn more about special events that happen in parts of Texas.”
