An Australian chicken breeder, Mr McFowler, fails to win competitions with his prized chicken, Hector, because of Hector’s habit of pecking noses, especially judges. However, playing his Scottish records in his shed one day, Mr McFowler he discovers Hector has another talent: highland dancing. Mr McFowler sees an opportunity and has Hector train the other farm chickens to form a very popular highland dancing troupe which performs at Australian Shows and woos audiences at the Edinburgh Tattoo.
