The Cat Protection Society of NSW Inc began in 1958 as a small group of people dedicated to finding loving and responsible homes for street cats. Today, their vision remains the same and they now offer a range of feline care services from their purpose-designed, no-kill shelter in Newtown. An independent charity, they have 1700 members, 150 volunteers, 12 staff and help thousands of cats – and the people who love them – every year. The wonderful cat stories and images in this book have been contributed by members and friends of Cat Protection.
